Cristina Flaschen

A self-proclaimed “logistics junkie,” Cristina Flaschen has ten years of experience in the tech sector. After working with the Microsoft Dynamics consultancy Arbela Technologies, Cristina took on the New York City SaaS startup space, leading teams at Booker and Handshake. Cristina’s passion for technology and deep problem-solving has led her to build and run teams integrating to dozens of systems across verticals, products and technical stacks. With a management career spanning nearly fifteen years, Cristina prides herself on bringing humor, creativity and positivity to every level of the organization in which she works. When she is not creating solutions for customers and learning new technologies, Cristina spends her time playing with her two dogs, gardening at her home in Brooklyn and very, very slowly learning Python.

Shon T. Urbas

After automating the work of eight interns at R.W. Pressprich, Shon Urbas became the Associate Director of IT before attending college. Upon obtaining his BS in computer science, Shon returned to Pressprich before moving to Briarwood Capital. He led Systems and Software Development for the commodities-based hedge fund for six years. Shon joined the ranks of the startup world at Handshake, leading multiple engineering teams to help build a B2B eCommerce platform, including an iOS app, Android app and online web portal. Shon’s pragmatic engineering methodology has driven him to create a fifteen-year track-record of quality, on-time project delivery. In addition to a deep and passionate love for Python, Shon enjoys playing with Legos (with and without his children) and drinking way too much iced coffee.
